We're still cute as ever...what a burden..

It's hard to be good looking...people have high expectations for our behavior. We took our owners to obedience school and they graduated, but they still have a lot to learn. Like, how about leavin' a little more meat on those steak bones? We've been very busy this past year...doing a little traveling...hanging with our mom and godparents, visting our grandmother at the groomer's...its hard to find time to blog.

Road Trip

This trip to Joshua Tree Nat'l Monument was a lot of fun. We love rock climbing and there's plenty of great scenery to look at. The day was cold and clear and we could see all the way to Mexico and the Salton Sea.

I may be little, but don't be fooled...I'm 11 pounds of "you don't wanna mess with me." I'm 20 pounds of muscle...okay, puppy fat, but you don't want to get between me and my food.

More Sightseeing

Further up the coast there are hundreds of seals sunning themselves on the beach. They weren't much fun, but we met lots of new dog friends and tons of people who felt it necessary to remind us of how cute we are!

The fresh air is just what the doctor ordered! Morro Bay is breathtaking! Most of the restaurants are dog friendly as well. What a great vacation!

After visits to several wineries, we're back at the hotel and loving this gigantic dog bed! Kikko, I feel like singing! Meesha, I just want to stretch out on this bed and enjoy the good life! More merlot please!

We made our first new friend at Calcareous Winery. We think he's a dog...but it doesn't matter. He really knows his way around a vineyard.

Kikko, this pet friendly hotel is the best! We have full run of the place! There's a nice grassy area outside of our balcony and we can even jump all over the furniture! Call room service...no, call the concierge. I'm ready to hit the wineries!

We just got back from our first trip to the groomer's. If I never go back again, that would be fine with me! On the other hand, this new hairstyle does me me look 5 lbs lighter!

The Shih-Tzu Times - Patrick is dead!
The menaces Kikko the Ripper and Hannibal Meesha have put an end to Patrick the Sheep. Pictures to come after the autopsy has been completed. Both witnesses (Yellow Ball and Red & White Rope) said, "All we know is we looked at Meesha and she was trying to eat Patrick's heart and Kikko was trying to rip open Patrick to see what else was inside. It was believed that Patrick was in his last days when he lost the will to squeak when played with.
